Teedra Moses - Just Wanna Be (Kaytranada Remix)

Here at the Venn Diagram we are suckers for R&B remixes. Candadian Kaytranada has featured before for his remix of Janet Jackson’s If, this is pretty much along the same lines and I love it just as much. Female vocalists really do it for me.

Isaac Tichauer - Take Over You

Whilst the Venn Diagram always tries to keep up to date with new producers it would be wrong of us not to feature a new release from our favourite label and one of our favourite producers. Take Over You has all the usual French Express summer vibes all the way through and I love it.

Touch Sensitive - Show Me

I wish this aussie based producer lived on the same hemisphere as us :(.

His tunes are perfect for summer days / nights. Be sure to check Pizza Guy too

Seb Wildblood - Lusk (Thefft Remix)

This is so funky I cant wait to hear more from Thefft

Trikk - Rounded

Been absolutely loving this one from Trikk’s new EP ‘Basement Traxx’ since hearing it last year in George Fitzgerald’s live set for Beatport (that you can stream here).

Releasing on vinyl & digital 29th April, the EP also features a techno bootleg from Lando (formerly Lando Kal) as a pretty stark contrast.

A very timely and appropriate summer track!

Halfway Kid - ‘Villains’

Been waiting for tiiiiiiiiiime for this release after hearing some very promising tracks a while back.

In this 5 track EP, Halfway Kid and producers Tom Howe & Joe Neal bring a refreshing stance to the UK rap scene.. With Ghostpoet-ish vibes, well written lyrics and strong beats, ‘Warmer’ offers a variety of tracks ranging from the super chilled ‘Downtime’ to the upbeat and fast-paced ‘ONO’.

Overall 5* rating & strongly recommend y’all to give it a listen! or even better, you can download it for free here —>  http://halfwaykid.com/

Romare - The Blues (It Began in Africa)

This London based producer is somewhat of a dark horse, and not one we have seen much of since this EP, titled ‘Mediations On Afrocentrism‘ was released last summer. The clue to its vibe is in the title, booty shaking afrobeat masterfully mixed with soulful blues and string samples.

He has a new 4 track EP out on vinyl now which you can grab here.

Velour - Speedway

After a couple years under the radar, Hyetal & Julio Bashmore release their first material since ‘The Velvet Collection’ EP.

Dropped on Broadwalk Records for Christmas Day last year, this track embodies great 80’s vbz and is an undeniable grower.

Do throwback wednesdays count? What about if its only from 2010…

Two of my favourite producers here, a Dixon edit of Henrik Shwarz ‘Code 718 Equinox’ - fitting considering it is the spring equinox today. Still freezing tho
